PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION

The Parks and Recreation Commission consist of 5 members appointed by City Council. The duties and responsibilities of the Commission are to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to recreation and parks.  The Commission is also responsible for matters relative to street trees within the City.  The Parks and Recreation Department serves as staff to the Commission. The Parks and Recreation Commission meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month starting at 6:00 PM at Lomita City Hall, 24300 Narbonne Avenue. The duties and responsibilities of the Parks and  Recreation Commission are governed by Lomita Municipal Code Chapter 10, Title I.  Meetings are open to the public, and agendas are available at City Hall and online here.
