HELPFUL TIPS RELATED TO COYOTES

Over the past several weeks, the City has received reports from residents of a recent coyote sighting.  The City would like to pass along these tips to minimize the potential of coyotes entering Lomita looking for food.

If you encounter a coyote there are some hazing techniques to move the animal out of an area or discourage an undesirable behavior or activity.

If you encounter or see a coyote please contact Dia Turner, City of Lomita at (310) 325-7110, x119.  Please provide the date, time of day and location where the coyote was seen.
