Historical Society

The purpose of the Society shall be to acquire, preserve, and make available a broad collection of information about the city of Lomita and surrounding territory for the benefit of Lomita citizens and interested visitors.

History

Founded in 1974, the Lomita Historical Society continues to build its archive and display Lomita's colorful 100-plus years of memories

Meetings

Public meetings are held on the second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September and November at 7:00PM in City Hall.

Membership

Membership is open to anyone who completes an application and pays their dues. Newsletters are mailed out prior to meeting dates. You may request an application by contacting the Lomita Historical Society.
