Parking Citations

Payment of Parking Citations

Payments for parking citations are NOT ACCEPTED at City Hall. Please pay for your citation using one of the following three methods:
  • Pay by Mail
    Mail payments using a check or money order made payable to City of Lomita. Write the citation number on the check. Please make sure that your payment is postmarked on or before the due date to avoid late fees. The City is not responsible for lost mail. Mail all payments to the following address, do not mail to Lomita City Hall.

  • Pay by Phone
    Call 866.470.1314 during normal business hours and follow the voice-activated prompt to pay by phone. There is a $2.68 service charge for payments processed by phone, which will be added to the total cost of the citation. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

  • Pay Online
    Go to the online payment site and follow steps 1 through 4. There is a $2.68 service charge for payments processed online, which will be added to the total cost of the citation. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

 Request for Administrative Investigation

Pursuant to California Vehicle Code Section 40215, you have 21 days from the violation date, or 14 days from the mailing date of the delinquent notice of parking violation to submit a request for an administrative investigation. Please provide a written statement why you believe the parking violation notice was issued in error. Include any proof (i.e. receipts, pictures, etc.) to support your statement. Materials submitted for review will not be returned. The results of the administrative investigation will be mailed to the address provided on the form.

Requests for an Administrative Investigation for parking citations may be submitted via fax, by mail, or in person to Lomita City Hall. Please use the form provided to submit testimony. Requests may also be submitted via e-mail to ParkingDept@lomitacity.com. If submitting by e-mail, please make sure to include the citation number.
