3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE CITY
COUNCIL
The City Council may discuss and act upon items described under Council Comments; however, items which are not will be limited to Council reports, announcements or requests for clarification, or factual information, or to placement of matters on the agenda for a future meeting.
4. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
Persons
wishing to speak to the City Council on subjects other than those scheduled are
requested to do so at this time. When
addressing the council, please come to the podium and give your name and
address for the record. In order to
conduct a timely meeting, a 5 minute time limit per person has been
established. Amendments to Government
Code Section 54954.2 prohibit the City Council from taking any action on a
specific item unless it appears on a posted agenda.
Persons wishing discussion on Consent Agenda items should so state at
this time.
5. CONSENT AGENDA
All items under the
Consent Agenda are considered by the Council to be routine and will be enacted
by one motion in the form listed below.
There may be separate discussion of these items prior to the time the
Council votes on the motion. Specific
items may be removed from the Consent Agenda at the request of any
Councilmember or staff.

b. Approval of Demands -- $110,004.16
c. Motion to Waive Further Reading
d. Report advising of Used Oil Recycling Block Grant funds provided to the city for the recycling of used oil and oil filters. RECEIVE & FILE.
e. Report recommending purchase of personnel software and related training and approval of software licensing agreements for $5,231.58 RECOMMEND APPROVAL
f. Report submitting resolution appointing Gregory Diaz as City Attorney and Christopher Cheleden as Assistant City Attorney. RECOMMEND APPROVAL.
6. TENTATIVE TRACT MAP NO 52788
Public hearing on a request for approval of a one-lot condominium map for six detached residential units at 2367 W. 241st Street in RVD-1500. Presented by Planner Kawasaki.
7. PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENTS
Report submitting costs for landscaping and other scenic beautification items on Pacific Coast Highway. Presented by Asst City Adm Irwin.
8. CITY ATTORNEY CONTRACT
Report submitting contract for City Attorney services. Presented by City Adm O'Connor.
