    2. Presentation of certificate of appreciation to Gale Irwin, Railroad Museum Boardmember, for donation of $5,000 towards construction of Railroad Museum water tower.

    Presentation by Mayor Mike Gordon, El Segundo, relative to the expansion of the Los Angeles Airport.

  2. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE CITY COUNCIL

    3. The City Council may discuss and act upon items described under Council Comments; however, items which are not will be limited to Council reports, announcements or requests for clarification, or factual information, or to placement of matters on the agenda for a future meeting.

  3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS

    4. Persons wishing to speak to the City Council on subjects other than those scheduled are requested to do so at this time. When addressing the council, please come to the podium and give your name and address for the record. In order to conduct a timely meeting, a 5 minute time limit per person has been established. Amendments to Government Code Section 54950 prohibit the City Council from taking any action on a specific item unless it appears on a posted agenda. Persons wishing discussion on Consent Agenda items should so state at this time.

  5. CONSENT AGENDA

All items under the Consent Agenda are considered by the Council to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There may be separate discussion of these items prior to the time the Council votes on the motion. Specific items may be removed from the Consent Agenda at the request of any Councilmember or staff.

  1. Approval of Minutes: October 13 and 19
  2. Approval of Demands - $98,858.69
  3. Motion to Waive Further Reading
  4. Report submitting claim for damages to a residence caused by tree limb submitted by State Farm Insurance. RECOMMEND REJECTION.

SCHEDULED MATTERS

  1. SCHOOL AND FIRE DISTRICT SERVICES

    2. Discussion regarding fire and school district services as requested by Councilmember King.

  2. SHOPPING CARTS

    3. Discussion regarding removal of shopping carts. Presented by City Adm O'Connor.

  3. PROJECT 2007

    4. Discussion of proposal for Project 2007 as requested by Councilmember Hargrave.

  4. MEETING DATES

Schedule meeting dates with Planning Commission, Urban Design Studios and to interview candidates for Commission vacancies.
