  4. The City Council may discuss and act upon items described under Council Comments; however, items which are not will be limited to Council reports, announcements or requests for clarification, or factual information, or to placement of matters on the agenda for a future meeting.

  6. Persons wishing to speak to the City Council on subjects other than those scheduled are requested to do so at this time. When addressing the council, please come to the podium and give your name and address for the record. In order to conduct a timely meeting, a 5 minute time limit per person has been established. Amendments to Government Code Section 54950 prohibit the City Council from taking any action on a specific item unless it appears on a posted agenda. Persons wishing discussion on Consent Agenda items should so state at this time.

All items under the Consent Agenda are considered by the Council to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There may be separate discussion of these items prior to the time the Council votes on the motion. Specific items may be removed from the Consent Agenda at the request of any Councilmember or staff.

  3. Motion to Waive Further Reading
  4. Report submitting claim for damages for personal property damage to vehicle submitted by Joana Novoa. RECOMMEND REJECTION
  5. Report submitting bid for purchase of 4-1 loader bucket and front hydraulic installation from Cook Tractors for $6,604.06. RECOMMEND APPROVAL
  6. Report recommending approval of plans and specifications for traffic striping and marking upgrade. RECOMMEND APPROVAL.
  7. Report submitting final map for Parcel Map 24717, a division of three lots into four single family lots at 25961 and 25965 Eshelman Avenue and 2004 & 2010 259th Place. RECOMMEND APPROVAL.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

  1. ZONE CHANGE CASE NO 91
  2. Public hearing on proposed Ordinance No 598 which would rezone property located at 25044-25104 Walnut Street from R-1 to RVD-5,000. Presented by Planner Kawasaki.

  3. ZONE CHANGE CASE NO 92
  4. Public hearing on proposed Ordinance No 599 which would rezone property located at the northeast corner of Woodward Avenue and W. 250th Street from R-1 to O-S (Open Space). Presented by Planner Kawasaki.

  6. Report dealing with temporary repairs to Cypress Street reservoir. Presented by City Admin O'Connor

  8. progress report on graffiti abatement in commercial areas. Presented by City Adm O'Connor.

  9. HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
  10. Request from Chamber of Commerce regarding sidewalk displays, temporary signs, balloons and banners. Presented by City Adm O'Connor.

  11. PROJECT 2007
  12. Discussion of proposal for Project 2007 as requested by Mayor Hargrave.

  13. TREE CITY USA

Discussion of participation in Tree City USA as requested by Councilmember Blackwood.
