  4. The City Council may discuss and act upon items described under Council Comments; however, items which are not will be limited to Council reports, announcements or requests for clarification, or factual information, or to placement of matters on the agenda for a future meeting.

  5. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
  6. Persons wishing to speak to the City Council on subjects other than those scheduled are requested to do so at this time. When addressing the council, please come to the podium and give your name and address for the record. In order to conduct a timely meeting, a 5 minute time limit per person has been established. Amendments to Government Code Section 54950 prohibit the City Council from taking any action on a specific item unless it appears on a posted agenda. Persons wishing discussion on Consent Agenda items should so state at this time.

  7. CONSENT AGENDA

All items under the Consent Agenda are considered by the Council to be routine and will be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. There may be separate discussion of these items prior to the time the Council votes on the motion. Specific items may be removed from the Consent Agenda at the request of any Councilmember or staff.

  1. Approval of Minutes: August 17
  2. Approval of Demands – $380,653.69
  3. Motion to Waive Further Reading
  4. Report recommending approval of the installation of a monitoring well in the north parking lot at Lomita Park. RECOMMEND APPROVAL.
  5. Report submitting maintenance and service budget for the 1992 Lomita Park grant project. RECOMMEND APPROVAL
  6. Report submitting resolution approving application for the Regional Park and Open Space District 1996 Safe Neighborhood Park Per Parcel discretionary Grant Program and adoption of youth employment plan. RECOMMEND APPROVAL.
  7. Report submitting resignation of Gangs & Graffiti Commissioner Shepherd. ACCEPT RESIGNATION AND ADVERTISE VACANCY.
  8. Report submitting lease agreement with the Community Development Commission providing for a rental fee for use of City Hall facilities. RECOMMEND APPROVAL.
  9. Report submitting final map for Tentative Tract Map No 48961, an 8 singlefamily residential condominium complex at 25960 Eshelman Avenue in Zone RV 5000. RECOMMEND APPROVAL.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

  1. TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO 25014
  2. Public hearing on a request to subdivide a residential parcel of land into three parcels at 24225 Walnut Street in zone R-1. Presented by Planner Kawasaki.
