Southern California Edison A/C Cycling Program

Conserve Energy, save money and receive a free gift

With Southern California Edison's (SCE) Air Conditioning Cycling program customers can save up to $200.00 depending on the program that they sign up for. SCE will install equipment on your 4 1/2 ton, or larger, Air Conditioning units that will enable the company to limit your Air Conditioners use during times of critical power shortages. Currently programs available are:

15 minutes out of every 30 minutes - $50.00

20 minutes out of every 30 minutes for a $100.00 savings

or the greatest savings of $200.00 for allowing SCE to turn your air conditioner off for a maximum of 6 hours during times of limited power supply.

There are 3 additional programs that have limits of only 15 interruptions per year.
