This program is sponsored by the L.A. County Board of Supervisors and the Department of Social Services. Eligible are Lomita residents ages 4 - 10. Children are allowed to borrow toys from the Toy Loan Center in the same manner in which they borrow books from the Library. The Toy Loan Center operates out of the Lomita Recreation Center, 24428 Eshelman Ave, on Thursdays from 10 am until noon. For more information, call Raquel Temblador at (310)326-0140.

Public Works Service Request Form
The city of Lomita has implemented an online system allowing residents to request services over the Internet for street, tree and water issues. By following this link:http://www.iworq.com/iworq/Web/Request.asp?cityid=447 you may request city services including water meter repair, tree trimming, pothole and sidewalk repair, graffiti eradication, repair of damaged street signs and poles, and repainting of curbs. The form is user-friendly. Fill in all fields and click the Submit Request button. Your request will go directly to Public Works which will respond back to you within two business days. Make a note of the confirmation number that appears on the screen. Using this number, you may return to the site periodically to check the status of your request. There is no need to call the city. For those without Internet access, the City Services phone number is (310)325-9830 This online service is not to be used for emergencies. Please call 911 for emergencies.
