Graffiti Removal

If you spot graffiti anywhere within the City, please call and report it to the Lomita Graffiti Hotline at 310-325-3694. The City's goal is to remove graffiti within three working days.

Section 5-6.12 of the Lomita Municipal Code states the City may offer a $500 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of any person engaging in graffiti vandalism resulting in damage or destruction of any property in the city.

Claims must be filed with City Hall and contain the following information:
. Date, location, and type of property that was damaged

. Name of person convicted or confessing
. Court and date of conviction or confession

An authorized representative of the City will verify the claim and recommend if the reward will be granted. If there are several sources of information, the reward will be divided. The perpetrator of the graffiti vandalism or their guardian shall be liable for the reward amount.
